1870 Albert Wilkie - accused of kidnapping a white girl. Hanged in the yard of the First Presbyterian Church in Dalton
1888 Will Thomas - Mr. Thomas was accused of attacking a widow in her home. He was found walking the tracks in Cohutta and brought back to Tunnel Hill to be hanged.
1889 Thomas Love - accused of attempted rape of an invalid girl in Tunnel Hill
1892 Lee McDaniel - accused of attempted rape of the daughter of his employer's cook. Hanged in the Fincher area of East Whitfield County
