About

Whitfield Remembrance Project is a community remembrance project launched by EJI. Our campaign honors the victims of lynching by speaking their names, telling their stories, and erecting historical markers. Our goal is to acknowledge the horrors of racial injustice and provide a space for reflection and healing. We are committed to preserving the memory of those who have suffered and ensuring that their stories are never forgotten.

We believe that by confronting our history of racial injustice, we can create a more just and equitable future for all.
